A New Beginning
Things are moving at a steady pace with our new location. The inside is almost completely repainted, and we should be done with carpeting by the end of the month (it definitely beats the concrete floor we have now).
The carpet we’re getting is really sweet. I believe it’s the exact same kind that Le Fun used.
If everything stays on schedule, we should be able to keep our promised opening time of “June 2008″ but I’m going to stick with “Summer 2008″ just to be safe. There is still a ton of work to be done, and personally I’ll be satisfied as long as we’re open before the Fall 2008 semester.
We have very big and mildly intimidating plans for the arcade, and I don’t think I’ve told any one person every single improvement we are planning on implementing to make this place crazy good. Needless to say, stay tuned and we’ll do our best to keep everybody updated on what we think will make Arcade UFO a magical place.
